If you thought that Khalid‘s rapid upward trajectory was finally beginning to slow down, guess again. Last year, the 19-year-old crooner quickly rose through the ranks with his debut single “Location”, showcasing his naturally rustic vocal and knack for engaging storytelling. Having released his debut album ‘American Teen’ in March, Khalid is back at it once again with the release of his second remix in the space of a month.
Enlisting the help of DMV rapper GoldLink, Khalid has shared a remix of the record’s supporting single “Let’s Go”. The drop follows his very recently released remix of “Location”, featuring none other than Weezy F Baby and Kehlani. Without causing too much of a fuss, GoldLink slips in one of his trademark verses over earthy synth tones and percussive clicks before Khalid snatches back the reigns to steer the track onto its due course.
