Hi-Funk Five-Piece Parcels Give Us Their Tour Essentials

Byron Bay-bred, Berlin-based Parcels have had a huge 12 months. After relocating to Europe, the lads were signed to quintessential Parisian label Maison Kitsuné, and caught the attention of French funk figureheads Daft Punk — who produced and co-wrote Parcels’ killer single “Overnight”— at their first gig in Paris. The quintet have since gone on to make their US TV debut on Conan, play at mega festivals from Glastonbury to The Great Escape and Falls, and have sold-out shows in Paris, Berlin and London. They’re currently in the middle of their Aussie tour, and after huge stops in Melbourne and Sydney, you can imagine they’re gearing up for a solid final stretch.

Parcels have shared a photo diary of what really goes down when you’re on the way up:

Friday 12 January – Woolly Mammoth – Brisbane
Saturday 13 January – The Northern – Byron Bay
