Now, less than a month later, Elvinger has unveiled “Higher”, a cut further affirming his hard-hitting, individual approach and pulling his aggressive, industrial production style to the forefront. It’s a perfect fit for the aesthetic behind Versus Versace, who actually commissioned Elvinger to produce the track as the theme song behind their Fall/Winter 15/16 collection. The track pulses perfectly alongside the rebellious, military-inspired direction of the range, with glitchy radio fuzz and ominous vocal snippets swirling around crashing bursts of tinny percussion. Here’s to hoping that this entire collaboration thrusts Elvinger into the wider recognition he genuinely deserves…
