In just one week, Australia’s indie-electronic darling Emma Louise will release her highly anticipated sophomore album ‘Supercry’ (July 15). In recent times, Miss Louise has completely reinvented herself, choosing to completely repackage her sound and audial image. ‘Supercry’s’ first two singles (“Underflow” & “Talk Baby Talk”) saw Louise display new found vocal confidence amidst harrowingly reserved electronic soundscapes.
Now with her latest single “West End Kids”, Emma goes ahead and shows us yet another side to her insanely diverse repertoire of talents. “West End Kids” finds itself immediately presenting as more anthemic as Louise’s intoxicating vocals partner perfectly with soft guitar strums and twinkling synths before soaring into a truly sing-along chorus full of washed percussion and gorgeous back-up vocals.
